As many of you know, I've been working on a new guitar for several weeks.
Normally I put guitars together one piece at a time... then end up being VERY expensive and time consuming. I tried to make things "easier" and "less expensive" by ordering most of the custom parts in a KIT and finishing it off myself.
Six weeks go by and the custom kit arrives.... they got the wood and options right.. but it's the wrong kit. Sooo... I send it back and they go to work on another. I start to wonder...
"Six weeks for the kit... six more weeks for ANOTHER kit... and then I have to finish it???"
I called them up and told them to apply the credit to a fully finished guitar...

This is a representative Photoshop of what I ordered. Mahogany body, figured walnut top, gold hardware, birdseye maple fingerboard and neck...
This way in six weeks I'll be opening a FULLY FINISHED guitar instead of a kit.
I'll take the wood I have, get with burke and make a body for a DIFFERENT guitar.

If it sounds and plays as sweet as it looks, you got a gem! That's a beautiful guitar!

It's just photoshop at this point.... but I've seen some killer looking Clairo come from that factory....
I'm praying it looks as good as this bass....

You totally have to get with Burke, and do a Spawn guitar! That would rule!

You know... that's not a bad idea....
Maybe just an inlay on the body of the McF logo made from different wood.

If that thing plays half as good as it looks, then it'll look twice as good as it plays!

With that wood combo I suspect you should have sustain that lasts for ...oh...about an hour!

the finish of the body looks like the Necronomicon , you should think about adding eyes, nostrils and a mouth to it

I'm expecting it to be fairly heavy... not as heavy as Les Pauls I've had because it will be thinner, but heavier than your run-of-the-mill strat....
... but that's a necessary evil for deep tone and sustaaaaaaaaaaaaiiiiiiiinnnnn....

You 'ear that? aaaaahhhh... You coul' go get a bite and come back, it'd still be... aaahhhh...
Well.. it's not plugged in... but if it were, you 'ear it.
